Notes on the last two shows

First on last night's 7/9 show with Jared Goralnick:

The last question I asked should have been my first: Why do you do what you do? That one opened something up. Suddenly in the chatroom people started asking really profound questions. Asking why elicits something deep. So I wish I would have asked that one earlier, but now I know.

Anyway, still had a great time with Jared, Scott and all of you folks that joined us.

I loved this show for a few reasons.

1) It's always great to have guests on who are already friends. There's a kind of loose energy and banter that makes for a good show.

2) Loved the low tech visual aids.

OK, that's it. I just wanted to get some thoughts down while they were still fresh.


3) It's great to have a live in-person audience, even if it's just one person. @humanfolly was in the house tweeting the show and just hangin' out. It really adds something to have someone to play off of who isn't formally part of the show (even though we ended up getting her on camera).
